The right way to install Android 8. 0 Oreo on Nexus and Pixel devices
Google is rolling out Android almost 8. 0 Oreo update for Nexus and Pixel devices and it will make your Android device faster, smarter and more powerful than ever. Pre-Requisites:
- Make sure to create a complete back-up of your important data including photos, videos, and documents.
- Download and mount the latest USB individuals on your computer system.
- Make sure ADB / Fastboot is completely configured.
- The bootloader should be unlocked.
- Enable UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS Debugging on your Android os device. You may permit HARDWARE debugging by going to Settings > Applications > Developer Alternatives and from this level permit the USB debugging.
- Make sure your device has more than 70 percent power supply charged.
The right way to install Google Android 8. 0 Oreo on Nexus and Pixel devices:
- Download Android 8. zero Oreo OPR6 factory image
- Now hook up your phone to COMPUTER using the USB cable and turn it off.
- Today restart the device in Fastboot mode. In order to access Fastboot method, press and hold Amount Down and then press and hold Volume key.
- Now extract the downloaded file in any file anywhere on your COMPUTER. Go to _OPR6_folder and copy/paste all files to your Fastboot directory.
- Nowadays, it's time to show factory image to your device. Open the file containing the extracted documents and type cmd in the address bar and press enter.
- Now type following commands:
- Windows: Function flash-all. bat
- On Macintosh: Run flash-all. sh using Terminal
- Linux: Run flash-all. sh
